8) The Prescott Channel & Three Mills Lock

The Prescott Channel has been closed for a few years to enable the contruction of a new lock for the tarnsportation of materials to and from the London Olympics sites. The lock was first used for commercial traffic at the end of April 2009. During May BW announced its intention to call it Three Mills Lock to complement the aeas names - Three Mills, Three Mill studios, and Three Mills Island
