British Waterways became "manic-depressive brutalisations" in a gaffe ridden leaflet for Kirklees Council. This & several other mistakes concerning the north east waterways were discovered amongst over 50 mistakes in the scrapped leaflet aimed at encouraging cycling. Encouraging? If you get hit by a supersonic speed towpath cyclist its brutalising. The waterways & local London media recent news on increasingly aggressive towpath cycles & accidents is a major issue of concern now, yet BW seems to do nowt. Brutal Waterways anyone? |
