About London Canals: It originally began in 1998 and was known as
Canal Guides. As that site got more larger it was decided a couple
of years ago to split it up into two separate, but more manageable,
units, one covering London and the other covering canals outside
London, but within Southern England. Hence London Canals was
brought into existence.
