'Fly' boats in the park?

The passenger trip boats travel from Park Road to Waters Meeting bridges at a fair speed which wouldnt be tolerated on other canals. Its possible only because this section of the Regents Canal through the park has a much deper channel than usual (or is it that other canals dont get dredged? Judge for yourself!) Actually if the boats are quite on time they wont be belting along so sprightly. Yet delays do often affect services and the London waterbuses have been seen as much as 40 minutes behind schedule.
